Tottenham have become a top 4 team over the past few seasons and fans must be wondering when it will be their turn to win the Premier League.

They have a strong squad on powerful players who on their day can beat any team in the division and a good group of young players which are in development to become the future first-team regulars.

Managing Tottenham will be an exciting challenge, with the club challenging for the title in the Premier League and cup glory in Europe.


The Tottenham board have expectations to finish the season with Champions Cup qualification, this means you will need to finish in the top 4 in the Premier League.

Their FA Cup expectation of reaching the final and European Champions Cup expectation of reaching the quarter-final should not be taken lightly and might be the harder of the expectations to achieve.


Transfer Budget: £12.5M
Wage Budget: £2.12M (£151K remaining)

Tottenham have a bank loan of around £366M, so although they haven’t signed any players this season, their budget is still only £12.5M.

Their budget is expected to be lower than their competition until they are able to pay off the debt.

Therefore, any major transfers you want to make will need to be funded by selling players first.


Harry Kane – (CA 183 – PA 185)

You can’t think of Tottenham these days without thinking of Harry Kane, The prolific striker has been on fire for Tottenham in the last few seasons, scoring more goals each season, with last season being his best yet, returning 30 league goals.

Harry Kane is the Tottenham talisman and is the focal point for all their attacks, with his world-class finishing ability, he rarely misses when in front of goal.

Kane is still only 24 years old and could still improve, which is amazing when you consider he is already one of the worlds best strikers.

Best Attributes – Finishing (19), Penalty Taking (19), Determination (19), Work Rate (18), Stamina (18).

Christian Eriksen – (CA 178 – PA 180)

Christian Eriksen has been the main creative player for Tottenham since his £10.25M transfer from Ajax in 2013/14.

Not only has Eriksen been excellent at creative chances, but he has also been able to chip in with goals, scoring more than five goals each season.

Eriksen is an elite attacking midfielder but is also very versatile and capable of playing out wide or in a deep-lying playmaker position.

Best Attributes – Teamwork (18), Work Rate (18), Stamina (18), Passing (17), Technique (17).

Dele Alli – (CA 164 – PA 176)

Dele Alli is in his fourth season at Tottenham following his £5M transfer from MK Dons.

Alli is an advanced playmaker with his best position being in central midfield or left attacking midfield.

He is a very technical player who is very good on the ball with plenty of Flair, he is also a hardworking player with good teamwork attributes.

Alli might not score or assist a huge amount of goals, but he is a very key part of the Tottenham team and is very good at playing in many different positions.

Oliver Skipp – (CA 113 – PA 170*)

Oliver Skipp is a ball-winning midfielder who is currently in the Under 23 team.

Skipp is an exciting young talent who isn’t far from the first team, he has very good mental and physical attributes for a player who is only 17 years old.

With a potential ability of 170, Skipp has the potential to be a leading midfielder in the first team, you should keep a close eye on his development and give him first-team game time whenever possible.

Juan Foyth – (CA 129 – PA 155)

Juan Foyth is another young player which you should keep an eye on.

Foyth is a central defender and with a current ability of 129, he is good enough to be backup to the first-team defenders.

With a potential ability of 155, Foyth can become a leading defender in the Tottenham team.

Troy Parrott – (CA 87 – PA 180*)

Troy Parrott is an advanced forward striker who currently plays in the under 18s team.

It might be worth sending Parrott out on loan to a lower league side If they are willing to give him a key player role.

he is currently the third choice striker, behind Harry Kane and Fernando Llorente, and is unlikely to get any game time other than in cup matches.

Janssen is worth £14M and could be a way to generate some transfer funds.

Sandro Tonali – (CA 120 – PA 150/180)

Sandro Tonali is an Italian Wonderkid who currently plays for Brescia.

He is a deep-lying playmaker which makes him a little different from the type of players already in the Tottenham team and fits in with their philosophy of signing young players for the first team, although he is not quite ready to be a regular first-team player.

Tonali is only 18 years old and will improve greatly within the next couple of seasons, he is also a very affordable player costing around £7M and £12K p/w in wages, which is perfect for Tottenham considering their low budget.

Isak does have considerable potential (150/170), so he is likely to become a very good leading striker in the future.

Again Isak would fit in with the Tottenham philosophy of signing young players and would only cost around £12M

Pereira would be a good upgrade in the central midfield to Wanyama and Sissoko.
