2019/20 is the first season back in the Premier League for Fulham since they were relegated in 2013/14.
Fulham have gambled big time to stay in the Premier League after they have spent a whopping £101M on new players.
Despite the amount of money Fulham have spent, they are still one of the weaker sides in the League.
This is going to be an all or nothing season, with Premier League survival meaning Fulham will be able to really push on, however, Premier League relegation will mean the club will most likely fall into financial turmoil.
Fulham’s Premier League expectation is to avoid relegation, This will be a difficult task as Fulham are one of weaker teams in the division.
Transfer & Wage budget
Transfer budget: £1.5M
Wage Budget: £1.04M p/w (£1K p/w remaining)
As mentioned Fulham have already spent £101M on transfers this season, this is unprecedented of money for a promoted team to spend this much money.
The new signings include; André-Franck Zambo Anguissa for £27M, Aleksandar Mitrovic for £18M, Jean Michaël Séri for £18M and Alfie Mawson for £15M among others.
With all these signings, Fulham does not have any transfer budget remaining to sign players for the rest of the season, so the only option would be to sell players to raise funds.
As with all newly promoted teams, all of the senior players in the team will need to have a good season in order for Fulham to avoid relegation.
However, the key players, in particular, will determine the outcome of the season for Fulham, depending on their performances.
Aleksandar Mitrovic – (CA 135 – PA 150)
Aleksandar Mitrovic had an excellent 2017/18 season on loan to Fulham, where he helped the team win promotion to the Premier League.
His level of performances caused Fulham to sign the player on a permanent transfer from Newcastle United for £18M.
Mitrovic is a strong forward who enjoys the physical side of football, he will be the main goal scorer for Fulham, with his goals likely to be vital in keeping Fulham in the Premier League.
Best Attributes – Bravery (18), Strength (17), Jumping Reach (16), Balance (16), Aggression (16).
Jean Michael Seri (CA 137 – PA 145)
Seri is another new signing for Fulham this season, having joined from Nice for £18M.
Seri is a Box To Box Midfielder who is able to get about the pitch all game thanks to his 18 Stamina.
He will be an important player for Fulham, with his ability to break up the opposition attacks and also with creating chances.
Best Attributes – Stamina (17), Agility (16), Bravery (15), Determination (15), Teamwork (15).
Ryan Sessegnon (CA 132 – PA 155)
Ryan Sessegnon had an excellent 2017/18 season, helping Fulham win promotion to the Premier League.
Sessegnon started as a wing-back but in 2017/18 was moved into a more advanced role further up the pitch.
He is now able to play both positions very naturally with good enough attributes to play both positions well.
Sessegnon is still only 18-years-old and has many years ahead of him to improve, however, he will most likely be a key member of your team.
Best Attributes – Natural Fitness (17), Acceleration (15), Pace (15), Off The Ball (15), Flair (14).
Fulham has utilised most of their best young players within their first team already, However, they do have a few players within their youth teams, which given enough attention could become first-team players in the future.
Cody Drameh (CA 80 – PA 138)
Cody Drameh is a 16-year-old wing-back who is currently in the Fulham under-18s team.
Drameh is a raw talent, however, he does already have good physical attributes and with high Determination should be able to improve quickly.
He could earn a call up to the first team within a few seasons.
Best Attributes – Acceleration (16), Determination (15), Pace (14), Stamina (14), Tackling (12).
Steven Sessegnon (CA 95 – PA 129)
Steven Sessegnon is another wing-back Fulham have in their youth system, The 18-year-old is currently in the under-23s team, however, he isn’t too far away from a call up to the first team.
Best Attributes – Acceleration (17), Pace (16), Stamina (15), Concentration (14), Crossing (11).
Matt O’Riley (CA 100 – PA 148)
Matt O’Riley is an exciting young prospect who isn’t far away from the first team.
O’Riley is primarily an attacking midfielder, however, he can play further back in central midfield.
Best Attributes – Acceleration (16), Determination (15), Pace (14), Stamina (14), Passing (10).
Players to consider selling
Neeskens Kebano (CA 124 – PA 128)
Neeskens Kebano is a left-sided midfielder who is only a backup for Fulham.
Although he can naturally play as a striker too, he’ll also only be a backup player behind Mitrovic, Vietto and Rui Fonte.
He’s currently in the prime years of his career and therefore won’t be improving.
Due to his age and the fact, there are plenty of other players in front of him in the pecking order, Kebano is a player you should look to move on.
Wage: £13.5K p/w
Expected transfer value: £1M
Floyd Ayite (CA 126 – PA 136)
Floyd Ayite is another wide player for Fulham who is only a squad player and unlikely to get into the first team.
Ayite is 29-years-old so is not going to improve and as he’s valued at £7.5M, You might be able to get a club to sign him for a good amount.
Wage: £8K p/w
Expected transfer value: £6.25M
Mo Besic (CA 128 – PA 142)
Fabricio is currently the third choice goalkeeper and would be unlikely to get any game time.
He’s still only 30-years-old, so he’s fairly young for a ‘keeper and is in the prime years.
Being worth around £8M, selling Fabricio would be a good way to raise some badly needed funds.
Wage: £45K p/w
Expected transfer value: £6M
Players to consider signing
Without making some major sales Fulham won’t be able to sign any new players in the first season.
Which players you should sign in the 2019/20 season will also be dependent on whether you can achieve the target of avoiding relegation.
Two Positions which Fulham could really do with improving are Defender (Right) and Attacking Midfielder (Right).
Here are a couple of players which you could look at signing next season.
Valentino Lazaro (CA 144 – PA 155)
Valentino Lazaro is a young right wing-back who currently plays for Hertha BC in the Bundesliga.
The 22-year-old Austrian would be an excellent addition to the Fulham team and would go straight into the starting line-up.
Lazaro still has a few years ahead of him to improve before reaching his prime, so should be able to reach his 155 Potential Ability.
Best Attributes – Technique (15), Dribbling (15), Flair (15), Acceleration (15), Agility (15).
Wage: £20.5K p/w
Expected Transfer fee: £15M plus additional clauses.
Expected Wage: £30K p/w plus bonuses and clauses.
Felix Passlack (CA 121 – PA 161)
Felix Passlack is on loan to Norwich City for the 2018/19 season and Borussia Dortmund is not interested in selling him.
He may come available in the following season however and would be a very nice player to sign.
He is a player who would be very close to getting into the Fulham first team, if not straight away and with a Potential Ability of 161, he’s a player who can improve a lot.
Best Attributes – Determination (17), Natural Fitness (17), Bravery (17), Balance (16), Acceleration (14).
Wage: £17.25K p/w
Expected Transfer fee: £7.5M plus additional clauses.

Victor Tsygankov (CA 136 – PA 160)
Victor Tsygankov is a young Ukranian Attacking Midfielder (Right) who currently plays for Dynamo Kyiv.
Tsygankov is a left-footed player who likes to cut inside from the right-wing, which is perfect for an inside forward.
He’s currently only 20-years-old and has a lot of room for improvement with a nice Potential Ability of 160.
Tsygankov would be interested in a move to Fulham, but only if he gets a good contract.
Best Attributes – Technique (16), Dribbling (15), First Touch (15), Off The Ball (15), Acceleration (15).
Wage: £21.5K p/w
Expected Transfer fee: £20M plus additional clauses.
Expected Wage: £60K p/w plus bonuses and clauses.
Matías Zaracho (CA 131 – PA 143)
Matia Zaracho is another right-sided Attacking Midfielder worth taking a look at, he’s a much cheaper option than Tsygankov and would be available to sign for around £3M.
The 20-year-old Argentine who currently plays for Racing Club in Argentina would be a good addition to the squad.
Best Attributes – Determination (15), Off The Ball (15), Agility (15), Technique (14), Work Rate (14).
